Clear Canables®

Sometimes, people just don't believe the labels they read or they don't take time to read them. So, in addition to labels on the outside, what if people could see the recyclables inside too? That's one of the ideas behind this design.

Clear Canables® are unique in other ways too. They are made of 100% recycled PET plastic. They snap together and apart for convenient storage and shipment. And because Clear Canables® are assembled in sections, missing or worn parts can be replaced without replacing the entire container. Interchangeable parts allow for the creation of a variety of configurations: all clear plastic, metal base and clear lid or metal base and metal lid combining the strength and durability of steel with the benefits of clear plastic.

Clear Canables® are particularly well suited for use at special events such as street fairs and music festivals, where their ability to be disassembled and stored between events is a plus. They have many indoor uses too such as convention centers, transportation terminals, lunch rooms, and schools. And, Clear Canables® addresses a concern for agencies dealing with security issues; clear containers make it more difficult to hide items inside.

Capacities include 20, 30 and 55 gallon models. Lids have 4.5" diameter openings for collecting beverage containers or 2" x 14.5" slots for paper collection. Sized-to-fit clear plastic bags, manufactured with recycled content, are available for added convenience in servicing while maintaining content visibility.

Graphic Canables® with clear plastic lids include customer-applied labels and the words: RECYCLE CANS GLASS PLASTIC ONLY. Apply any or all words as required. A 5" diameter recycling symbol is also included. Metal lids receive factory-applied cut vinyl labeling with word choices similar to those listed above.

Clear Canables® cost range: $47 - $245. Cost variables include model selection, order size, customization requirements and government contract obligations.
