Graphic Canables® Education and Communication have long been essential components of successful recycling programs. Part of that effort has included promotional slogans, mascots, logos and poster designs. So, what better way to exhibit these creations than on the sides of the containers that are integral to recycling? Or, consider a design project in which students create artwork specifically for placement on recycling containers. Either way, Graphic Canables provide a means to get the message out about a community's recycling program. Graphic Canables® begin as 20 or 30 gallon barrels* made of 12 gauge, double-sided-galvanized steel. The barrels are then wrapped with a 360°, long term outdoor rated, 4 color graphic with a protective over laminate, creating one continuous image. Computer generated graphics allow for the production of minimal quantities. Removable rigid plastic liners as well as plastic poly bags are available. Handles can be added if required. Graphic Canables® with clear plastic lids come with customer-applied labels and the words: RECYCLE CANS GLASS PLASTIC ONLY. Apply any or all words as required. A 5" diameter recycling symbol is also included. Metal lids receive factory-applied cut vinyl labeling with word choices similar to those listed above. Graphic Canables® cost range: $343 - $429. Two lid styles provide differences in both cost and function. Unique, clear plastic lids made of 100% recycled PET, offer a view inside to reinforce the message "recyclables only;"
People read the label and also see the cans and bottles inside. For an all-steel 
solution, painted steel lids are available too. Steel lids can be hinged and locked. Both lid styles have either 4.5" diameter openings for collecting cans and bottles or lids with 3" x 10" slots for paper collection.  |
